The Whole Education Student Network brings together students from Whole Education schools across the country. It provides training and opportunities for young people to have their voice heard and bring about change in the education – at a school, local and national level.
Young people are at the centre of the work that Whole Education does, and so it is imperative that their voice is heard, and that they are equipped and empowered to be part of the movement for change.
The network aims to:
+ Facilitate the sharing of best education practice between young people
+ Equip young people with many of the skills, qualities and knowledge needed to bring about change in the school system
+ Provide a platform for young people to have their voice heard
The Whole Education Student Network is still quite young, but we have big plans for the future! These include:
Training events for students, to include:
+ public speaking
+ digital leadership
+ project planning
+ Speaking opportunities at events
+ Advocacy to system and policy leaders
+ Networking events
