Practice:
Morv leads the Music academy which aims to unlock the musical potential of each individual child, through high quality specialist music tuition and extra-curricular opportunities. The Music Academy allows every child to experience a well-rounded musical education as part of the school’s DREAM curriculum. They also provide numerous external performance opportunities in order for the children to express themselves through music.
 

Impact:
Impact of the Music Academy project has been evidenced through the pupils understanding of music theory and by putting such theory into practice. Assessment systems have been developed, implemented and evaluated to illustrate the phenomenal impact. Recent data demonstrates rapid progress in music theory and practical performance with every single pupil within the Academy Trust. Staff awareness of how to teach music effectively and successfully has been nurtured through coaching processes with Morvern.
 
Finally, the profile of music has been raised not only in our schools, the communities but beyond that.
