Middle Leadership Impact Initiative

Impact-focused, values-led and evidence-informed leadership development, for aspiring and existing middle leaders
 
"Thinking about impact and the 'so what' question is so important."

 
Developed and facilitated by the Whole Education Network, this national programme aims to develop a generation of middle leaders who are committed to translating the vision and values of a whole education into provision for all. The programme takes an evidence-informed and impact-focussed approach to change, personalised to suit your school context and priorities.
 
+ What are the key opportunities? 
+ four face to face training days over the course of the year
+ hear from two inspirational schools and explore their approach to leadership and change
+ carry out an in-depth 'Impact Study' at a class or team level in line with school priorities and be coached in the process
+ learn about strategies to leadership which balance immediate needs with longer term aspirations
+ access to a national network of innovative schools and leaders
+ form lasting links with like-minded colleagues
+ engage with the latest national and international educational research and policy development

The Facilitator 
The programme is facilitated by Chris Holmwood, Principal of Shenley Brook End School's Leadership and Training Centre. Chris has been an NCSL consultant leader for ten years and, more recently, Leadership Director for Whole Education. Chris is passionate about values-led leadership development and its impact upon school improvement. Chris is supported by David Crossley, Executive Director of the Whole Education Network.
