Parent School Partnership Network
Building trust between schools and families
How can schools build authentic trust with families, strengthen communication and make family voice a meaningful part of school life?
Led by Joe Pardoe, the Parent School Partnership Network brings colleagues together to explore practical approaches, share experiences and make manageable changes that strengthen relationships across their school communities.
Learning together, putting ideas into practice
Each session combines shared learning, guest contributors, family perspectives and practical tools. Between sessions, you will try a manageable change within your existing work, then reflect and learn alongside colleagues.
Membership also includes resources to support learning with colleagues and access to an ongoing online community.
The network focuses on everyday relationships across the whole school community, complementing specialist support by strengthening the foundations that benefit all families.
What will we explore?
Across six online, after-school sessions, we will explore:
Understanding families: Their experiences and the foundations of trust.
Communication: Building confidence through everyday interactions.
The missing middle: Connecting with families who may be less engaged or visible.
Family voice: Creating meaningful opportunities for co-construction.
Repairing trust: Navigating difficult conversations and relationships.
Lasting change: Assessing impact and embedding what works.
