What we do

Whole Education connects and supports leaders to create schools that provide a rigorous whole education.

Through our network, communities of practice and conferences we help leaders:

  • Think deeply and critically about their work.

  • Learn from experts and peers across the system.

  • Develop the skills and dispositions needed to lead with agility and creativity.

  • Build the confidence to serve their communities in meaningful, sustainable ways.

We know that being a school leader has never been more demanding. Funding pressures, growing needs in families, and questions about the relevance of curriculum mean schools are shouldering responsibilities far beyond the classroom. Our work exists to support leaders to respond with courage, imagination, and integrity.

We define a whole education as one that:

  • Develops the knowledge, skills, and dispositions learners need to thrive in life, learning, and work.

  • Makes learning relevant and engaging, giving learners ownership of their journey.

  • Embraces all learning environments, from classrooms to communities to global connections.

How you can get involved?

Whole Education Network

Leaders across MATs, local authorities, and schools learn from one another, regardless of phase or role, to broaden perspective and share insight from across the education space.

Communities of Practice

Leaders working in similar contexts come together in focused communities to learn, share, and deepen their expertise in specific areas of interest.

Conferences

Opportunities to meet in person to hear from experts and peers, share experiences, and develop new ideas. Open to everyone, whether inside or outside the network.
