This allows us to turning to the central question of how we move the system forward so that it, and our young people, can navigate the complexity of the future. Rather than offering fixed answers, it explores how we develop ourselves, our communities, and the system as a whole by valuing every part of what exists while recognising the next step. The session will not leaves you with a blueprint but a way of thinking about your own next steps; for yourself, your community, and the wider system.
About the speaker
Dr Matt Silver has spent his career asking one question: how does each layer of education connect, and what happens when they do? A former headteacher and CEO, researcher, and author in systems leadership, Matt founded The Glass House Leadership Lab to create the conditions where leaders, teams, and organisations don't just survive, they thrive. He has partnered with UCL IOE, NCE, and NASS to design national leadership programmes and develop digital solutions to address some of education's most complex challenges. At the heart of his work is the Unitive Atom Framework: a model for understanding the principles of human development across self, community, and the integrated systems we all inhabit.
