How well do we really know the people we lead? — Bridget Harrison
Drawing on both lived experience and trust-wide leadership practice, this session explores the often overlooked 'hidden layer' of staff experience, including long-term health conditions, caring responsibilities and other unseen challenges that shape how people experience work. Bridget will consider how leaders can create cultures where honesty feels safe, where assumptions about resilience are challenged, and where inclusion extends beyond pupils to encompass the adults who work alongside them.Trust wide community collaboration — Katrina Lambert
Harnessing the power of Communities of Practice (CoPs) to influence change at scale. Come and discuss:
- Leading CoP growth and development
- Engaging CoPs to enhance domain specific professional development
- Balancing the nuance of Trust priorities with CoP autonomyAuthentic leadership; inclusive cultures — Antonia Spinks
Leadership and organisational culture are inseparable. Drawing on two projects within our Trust - a research study exploring organisational culture and the development of a Trust-wide leadership framework - this presentation examines how understanding culture can inform leadership, and how authentic, inclusive leadership helps create cultures where people and organisations can thrive. It will offer practical reflections on using evidence to shape leadership and leadership to shape culture.Shared culture and a shared sense of direction — Sam Compton
