Susie Weaver

 
 

Susie is an Education Director with the CLF. Susie works across the trust as part of the Executive team, supporting the Trust Strategy and School improvement across the trust. Susie leads across the CLF with strategic leadership roles in SEND and Safeguarding, and provides the Board assurances for the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Core Enabler as part of the CLF 2030 Strategy. Currently, Susie is working with the South West Regional Improvement and Innovation Alliance (RIIA) as an Education Lead Practitioner. This is a DfE funded team working regionally across 15 Local Area Partnerships. This enables Susie to work alongside colleagues in Local Area Partnerships, Health, Social Care, SEND and Department for Education as part of the Regions teams. Susie has much experience in Education, and has taught children, pupils and students from ages 2-19 over more than two decades. Susie is highly experienced in leading teacher professional development, leadership training and is passionate about learning and leadership at all levels. Research and teacher development central to the work Susie leads in each role. Beyond the CLF and RIIA roles, Susie holds a range of positions including a member of the Whole Education SEND Advisory Board Group, Chair of the High Needs Working Group in South Gloucestershire, Chair of the Education Reference Group in Bristol and is the Education Lead within the Keeping Bristol Safe Partnership Board. In the past Susie has supported the DfE through the role of an Education Adviser (EA) for the Southwest RSCs office, and more recently as a member on the Alternative Provision Implementation Steering Group.
