Mick Waters is a leading figure in UK curriculum design who has held senior roles from headteacher to Chief Education Officer for Manchester. He has advised schools, trusts and governments on designing curricula that inspire learning. His books include A Curious Curriculum, Thinking Allowed: On Schooling and The Working Class: Poverty, Education and Alternative Voices reflect his advocacy for creativity, equity and purposeful schooling.
