Designing inclusive curriculum to address poverty and disadvantage — Jennifer Duncan and Katrina Morley OBE

Tees Valley Education Trust (TVED) will share their journey in successfully supporting communities experiencing significant poverty and disadvantage. Their work is captured in their book ‘Tackling Poverty and Disadvantage in Schools’. This session will focus on their cohesive approach to community through their work on inclusive curriculum design. Learn about their 8 segment model that intentionally develops a mix of formal, semi-formal and informal that successfully engages children and the wider community in learning.
