Expertise into Practice: Empowering SENCOs to train teachers on inclusive lesson design with Emma McCrea

Our Expertise into Practice webinars combine expert inputs from leading voices on SEND with opportunities for discussion with our national network.

This session with Emma McCrea will explore how to empower SENCOs to train teachers on inclusive lesson design.

Some features of lesson design and structure seem to benefit all pupils and those with SEND in particular. These include carefully managed cognitive load, and explicit lesson design architecture This session will unpick those features and help SENCOs with the language and strategies to lead staff to use really well-designed lessons across the whole school.
