This first session invites you to step into the heart of holistic education and explore what it means to be a champion of change. Together, we will examine how knowledge, skills, and dispositions intersect to equip learners not just for exams, but for life, learning, and work. Through stories, reflection, and shared experiences, you will be encouraged to consider how your personal journey as a leader shapes the education you aspire to provide.
We will explore the principles of a rigorous whole education and discuss how it can be made relevant and engaging for all learners. This is an opportunity to interrogate the challenges your schools face, reflect on what works, and draw inspiration from the wider network. By engaging with research, debate, and practice-sharing, you will see how your voice, alongside others, contributes to a national conversation that shapes education policy, practice, and culture.
By the end of the session, you will leave not only with a deeper understanding of holistic education, but with a clear sense of how to influence change locally and nationally. You will have begun the journey of stepping fully into your role as a representative voice of the Whole Education network, empowered to inspire your colleagues, students, and communities to thrive in a transforming world.
