Dr Vikki Jervis
Dr Vikki Jervis is the South West Regional SEND Coordinator and Regional Principal Educational Psychologist, working across 15 local authorities through the Regional Innovation and Improvement Alliance (RIIA). In this role, Vikki champions collaboration, mutual support, and the sharing of effective practice between local authorities and their partners, with a clear focus on improving outcomes and experiences for children, young people, and their families across the South West.
Prior to this, Vikki was a Head of Service within a local authority, leading a range of specialist teams. She is an experienced Principal Educational Psychologist as well as a qualified teacher, bringing a strong and well-rounded perspective to her work.
Vikki has a longstanding interest in leadership. She has dedicated many years to reading, researching, and writing in this area, with a particular focus on the leadership of psychological services. She is deeply committed to strengthening evidence-informed practice and to supporting the ongoing development of SEND and Alternative Provision services for the future.
In her spare time Vikki enjoys walking her dog, singing with her choir, playing pickleball, Yoga and spending time with her adult children and wider family.
