What is the role of the subject in a whole education? — Rebecca Peacock and Rachael Symons

This interactive session will explore how subjects are more than collections of knowledge – they are ways of understanding the world, connecting young people with real communities, contemporary issues and enduring human questions. Using science as a lens, we'll reflect on the distinctive contribution that subject disciplines can make to a rich, relevant and meaningful education, and consider how subject-specific and whole-school perspectives can work together to help every young person flourish.
