Melanie has over 14 years’ experience working with learners with SEND, including those with PMLD, SLD and MLD. In a previous role within a residential school for learners aged 10 and above with diverse and complex needs, she led the accomplishment of ASDAN programmes and qualifications while training teaching and care staff in effective delivery approaches. Since joining ASDAN in 2018, Melanie has supported centres delivering ASDAN Programmes and Qualifications, contributed to course creation and curriculum updates, and written articles for SEND Magazine and NASS. She is passionate about inclusive education and creating meaningful opportunities that prepare learners for adulthood and future success.
