Neil Moggan is the Founding Director of Future Action and the creator of the RISE Up programme, which supports over 250 schools across the UK and internationally to transform children’s mental wellbeing and life chances.
A former Director of Sport, Health and RSHE in an inner-city secondary school, Neil’s passion was ignited by the stark reality that life expectancy differed by 13 years depending on which side of the main road outside the school children were born on. This has fuelled his work since 2016 to develop trauma-informed, early intervention approaches that help close that gap.
Now a global speaker and trainer, Neil empowers educators with practical tools and research-informed strategies. He is the author of Time to RISE Up – Supporting Students' Mental Health in Schools and is currently undertaking PhD research into school-based wellbeing interventions.
