Greater than the Sum of Its Parts (published in April 2025)
Greater than the Sum of Its Parts is an independent evaluation of Whole Education’s SEND School Improvement Programme by Professor Philip Garner. Based on data from schools, local authorities, and MATs, the report confirms the programme’s impact in building confident, capable SEND leaders across the system. It highlights how Whole Education’s structured, networked approach fosters collaboration, strategic planning, and shared language.
A Constant Dance (published in January 2025)
A Constant Dance is a new report by Professor Toby Greany and Eleanor Bernardes exploring values-based leadership in five Multi-Academy Trusts from Whole Education’s MAT Leaders Network. Based on in-depth fieldwork, the study highlights how these trusts navigate complex organisational challenges by fostering shared values, adaptive leadership, co-construction, and collaboration.
