About the speaker:

Jo has over 20 years experience leading and teaching in schools across the North East; having worked in Mainstream & SLD Specific Primary settings, with a specialist interest and MA in educating learners on the Autism Spectrum. In her most recent post as Deputy Head teacher at EWDS, a Secondary Specialist SEMH School in Northumberland, she has been part of a leadership team that took a challenged school to a place of security and prosperity. Throughout all of these settings her passion has always been rooted in curriculum development; ensuring motivated teaching staff are able to engage and hook learners within bespoke pathways of learning, particularly for students who learn in non traditional ways.
